Job Description

We are currently working with a leading Search Engine Marketing firm with offices across the country. With experience in Pay-Per-Click and Natural Search engine marketing & optimization, our client connects clients’ brand to their audience based on web searches.

Job Summary:  The Account Director (SEM) is responsible for providing strategic leadership across one or more clients and ensuring client satisfaction through effective client management.  Business Leads will drive existing client relationships by promoting deeper client engagement and ultimately growing existing client revenue. The Account Director will also have direct management and oversight of the account team.

Requirements

Provide Strategic Leadership

For the Client

  • Uncover/Understand client objectives, challenges and needs by performing regular client SEM needs assessments.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership with clients by developing and presenting client industry/market research findings, SEM trends, benchmarking and other pertinent information.
  • Develop quarterly plan to translate strategy into action.
  • Coordinate with the Client Service team to determine appropriate staffing/growth plans.

Direct Management of the Account Team

  • Responsible for direct management and oversight of the account team.
  • Recruit (when necessary), assess, train, and manage direct report(s).
  • Responsible for managing, monitoring and evaluating each direct report.
  • Oversee employee career pathing, growth and retention.

Grow Existing Business

  • Manage assigned client revenue and margin objectives.
  • Allocate CS resources to allow for both meeting the client's current needs but also invest for growth.
  • Identify, develop, present and transition new client opportunities that solve client problems and advance their business.
  • Support business development team in winning/transitioning new clients
  • Lead development of client scope of work.
  • Ensure all quarterly scope documents, contracts and other business terms are documented, signed, posted to CRM and are distributed to the appropriate Resolution Media personnel.
  • Coordinate with finance team and department leads to map staff to fees.
