Brand Manager - Providence, Rhode Island

Job Description

Our client, a global retail giant is looking for a mid-Level Brand Manager to join their team for a long-term contract.

As a Brand Manager you understand the connection between brand, individual identity and culture. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Strategic, annual and marketing planning including the execution of online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
• Leadership of social and networking activities inside and outside the company that will result in successful implementation of marketing plans
• External and internal assessments of the business environment, competitors, customers, market trends
• Implement the social media strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the Company to ensure its effectiveness and encouraging adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company’s products and services
• Work with the Product development team to ensure social media tools (for ex. FB connect, Sharing buttons) are kept up to date
• Collaboration with global brand strategy and marketing teams in the development of all special and exclusive products, Managing presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed
