Job Description
A local DC advocacy agency is seeking an experienced Broadcast Editor to join their creative team.
Do you have advanced knowledge of the Adobe Suite, Adobe After Effects, Maya, Cinema 4D, Photoshop and Avid or Final Cut Pro?
Applicants need to have the ability to work under demanding deadlines and executing creatively on existing concepts. Will work under the close supervision of producers and must be able to take direction.
Requirements
- The ability to create content and work in a fast-paced production environment
- Knowledge of graphic software, all multimedia, conversions, and general production is preferred
- Must be available to work extended hours for special projects as needed
- Must be extremely flexible with the ability to handle high levels of stress
- Must be multi-task oriented with great attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to shoot and take project from start to finish
Previous experience editing for broadcast, a good eye for design and a willingness to work on-site are a must. Candidates must be available to work at least 40 hours/week.
An understanding of Flash and Web Design is a plus, but not essential.
