Our client is in immediate need of a talented Marketing Manager who will manage email marketing, direct mail programs, and online cross-sell efforts. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creative development and data segmentation processes for company’s direct mail programs including on-going direct mail acquisition campaigns
- Manage the processes for company’s retention and acquisition email campaigns
- Manage company's online cross-sell program
- Create and maintain detailed mail plans and production schedules
- Work with internal creative resources to develop HTML email files
- Execute email deployments within online ESP, ExactTarget
- Work with internal database team to manage list selections and develop A/B tests
- Lead copy process: communicate direction to copywriters, review and edit copy, obtain legal approval
- Work with internal and external creative resources to develop design miscellaneous direct mail pieces
- Set-up all tracking metrics (eSources, phone numbers, promo codes, etc.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze and report on test results, and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years Direct Marketing experience, preferably in e-commerce
- Experience managing email, direct mail, and web-based marketing campaigns
- Multi-channel campaign management skills
- Experience in home improvement industry a big plus
- Understanding of CAN-SPAM rules and regulations
- Ability to work under pressure of multiple projects and deadlines
