Calling ALL Software Reviewers and Bloggers! Got a killer Twitter following? Loads of comments on your own blog? Respected in the software blogoshpere?

They are one of the World's (yes, world! - they have offices in Europe) leading software websites, who surpassed 100 million unique users! They're searching for an experienced software reviewer and blogger to join their award winning editorial team!
Your focus will be on Windows software, reviewing the latest desktop apps and blogging about the evolution of the world’s most widely used computing platform.This is a Full-time gig for the right person!
The editorial team encompasses both San Francisco and the European offices. This means TRAVEL, expect trips to last 2-3 weeks!
The qualities they are searching for, for this position are pretty simple:
- tenacity, perseverance, self-criticism, empathy, confidence, logic skills, the ability to admit mistakes, integrity and respect towards the team and the project, among others
- Oh yah, you must have MAD-Computer and communication skills!
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally
Requirements
- at least 2 years experience in reviewing products
- proven track record for creating intriguing and helpful content about software and tech topics
- PLEASE have your OWN voice! Yes- creativitiy and a web friendly stye is required.
- advanced-level knowledge of the Windows operating system but still be able to write for all ability levels.
You’ll also need all the other tricks of the trade like image creation and editing skills, good knowledge of other key desktop and mobile operating systems, proofreading and editorial capabilities. We’d prefer an editor with a good number of followers on Twitter who knows how to use social media to promote their content in a friendly, unobtrusive manner.
The editor we’re looking for will be able to work independently but also as part of a close-knit team. Positive and full of team spirit, you’ll bring a coherent, responsible and friendly attitude to the team.
Editors are expected to travel nationally and internationally for industry and corporate purposes. Corporate international travel could extend to 2-3 weeks per year.
