Job Description
Onward Search is looking for a Mid level Copywriter who will help with our client's nationally recogonized brands reach the masses through compelling and well written messaging. We are looking for copywriters with experience in writing for multimedia, print and web, but we are particularly interested in those candidates who have experience working in advertising agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the art directors, account service and fellow writers to determine the best messaging approach for any project.
- Concept and write copy for campaigns that are related to online, interactive, print and perhaps social or mobile.
- Write and revise innovative and imaginative copy according to creative briefs and deadlines.
- Assist in client presentations
- Effectivly communicate with other departments
- Stay atop trends as they relate to clients and industry
Requirements
Requirements:
- Highly creative, innovative and conceptual thinking across various media types, mainly interactive.
- 2 to 5 years of copywriting experience
- Preferrably 2 years of experience writing for Fortune 500 clients
- At least 2 years of experience working in an advertising agency.
- Ability to adapt copy to a variety of clients and industries.
- Must be able to draft concepts, presentations, correspondence and other written materials as required.
- Must demonstrate a solid understanding of current creative media, mediums and trends.
