Job Description
This is a rare long term, 18 month contract writing copy across all channels for one of the Bay Area's best brands! In this role, you will be writing, editing and proofreading content for direct mail, email and the web from initial concept to release.
This is a chance to wake up excited to come to work every day and work in a highly collaborative environment working with art directors, designers and production managers.
Day to day Responsibilities:
- Concept, write, edit, proofread and submit copy for a variety of business lines and audiences.
- Work closely with account teams to determine target audiences and gather customer research for campaigns
- Collaborate with senior management to enable a competitive edge for the company through new creative concepts and strategies•
- Collaborate with art directors to produce the most compelling campaigns through copy as well as imagery.
- Participate in review of jobs at all stages.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of Four years of advertising copywriting experience.
- Portfolio showcasing a wide variety of copywriting achievements, including print, email, web for consumer brands.
- Experience in a regulated environment like healthcare or financial is ideal.
- Proven experience impacting concept and strategy on a campaign.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of design software (QuarkXPress, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint), and working knowledge of Excel.
