Job Description
Onward Search is looking for a Database Architect for a 3 month contract in Dallas. As a Database Architect you will play a key role in the design and implementation of a new database system to support our clients growing customer base.
- Assess organization’s data storage needs; design and implement a data storage plan based on those needs.
- Work effectively with vendors during implementation and maintenance of data integration, data warehouse, and reporting solutions
- Perform data analysis using SQL tools and more complex reporting tools
- Provide support, including documentation and training, to business analysts
- Work collaboratively with all departments
Requirements
- 3+ years designing and implementing databases in business, education, or nonprofit environment
- Actively participated in the full life-cycle of web application development (custom or customized), ideally in an agile development environment
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Advanced degree or certifications a plus.
- Ability to design, implement, and document a scalable architectural framework to support new data integration.
