Job Description
One of Dallas’ great SEO and Social Media boutique firms is on the hunt for a Director level SEO Manager to be responsible for driving the strategy to develop qualified referrals and increase lead generation for their clients. We are looking for a strong leader with demonstrated success in SEO & Social Media strategy execution to join their team.
This position requires a person with an equal combination of strategic planning skills and the ability and desire to be involved in “hands-on” execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accountable for the creation, development, organization, coordination, and execution of the company SEO agenda.
- Develop lead generation strategy in conjunction with senior management team and own the execution and implementation on a local and corporate level.
- Sets implementation schedule for project, including start date, status reporting dates, and completion date.
- Develop internal metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success of referral / lead generation programs on company and individual business unit level.
- Oversee internal resources and external vendors / subcontractors in support of lead generation initiatives.
- Develop a Value Proposition for internal facility constituents and external targets.
- Leading, mentoring and managing SEO marketing managers and coordinators.
- Implement industry-wide “best practices” and ensure clear documentation and guidance is provided to the right areas within the organization.
- Work with Marketing Managers to plan and oversee implementation of all SEO related initiatives, and monitoring competition and overall market trends related to SEO and social media trends
- Define, monitor and analyze SEO key performance indicators (KPI's) to continually improve campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to wok with internal and external customers
- Must be self-motivated and a proactive self-starter with ability to handle multiple complex tasks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SEO experience for large national and internal brands.
- 2+ years of leading SEO teams.
- 2 + years of successful social media program management experience, including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Foursquare, YouTube, Blogs, etc.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO skills, including ability to evaluate and modify HTML, CSS and Javascript for SEO purposes
- Experience with keyword research, density analysis, reporting and link building tools (e.e SEOMoz, Keyword Discovery, etc.)
- Superb leadership, interpersonal and team building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hands-on optimization; improving site structure, page construction, content, keyword lists, and SEO copywriting.
- Top-to-bottom management of SEO campaigns; generating ranking reports, conducting site audits.
- Develop and execute a well-thought on-site strategy including improvement of internal linking, site structure, and other relevant tactics.
