Job Description
Onward Search is seeking a Front End Developer for a reputable interactive agency on the westside of LA. You will be part of a multifaceted team, writing presentation layer code on an amazing project.
Our client, a consultancy, works with a broad range of Fortune 200 clients in a variety of verticals. If you have strong HTML5, CSS3 skills and exceptional JavaScript hand-coding ability, our client would like to speak with you.
- Establish and code front-end structure and standards
- Partner with back-end developers to ensure quality of code throughout the development life-cycle.
- Insure browser compatibility fix programming glitches.
- Work with junior level developers, helping to coach them to in order to produce their best coding.
Requirements
- 4+ years of web developement experienceExceptional hand-coding skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and mobile web development (in HTML5)
- Knowledge of JavaScript/UI libraries and their use in implementing AJAX solutions
- Strong experience in one or more of the following: jQuery, Dojo, etc.
- Knowledge of SEO and accessibility issues
- Addional skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, CMS, ability to work on portal technologies
- Pluses: Backend frameworks (e.g. Java, .NET)
