Job Description

Our client is looking for a talented Front-End Web Developer. A code junky who eats, sleeps and breathes code. This is a rare opportunity to work for a well-established consumer brand and showcase your abilities creating a new web experience from the ground up. You'll be working side-by-side with colleagues in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment to create beautiful, standards-compliant code.

This is a contract to hire position with the opportunity at a permanent role with our client after 3 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement templates and frameworks
  • Assist in the web development efforts of a new consumer site
  • Building landing and promotional pages
  • Work collaboratively with team member to ensure clean, compliant code is in place

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Web Developer
  • Experience working on large scale websites is a must
  • Expert in HTML, CSS and PHP
  • CSS3/HTML5 a huge plus
  • Smarty and Subversion experience
  • Must be able to provide code samples
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
