Job Description
We are looking for a passionate, seasoned Graphic Designer who can apply their strong visual sense to the creative development of one of the nation’s most recognized financial institutions. The Graphic Designer we want to find has the ability to multitask and produce impressive design solutions that communicate brand initiatives and objectives clearly. They are also keenly aware of the newest design industry best practices and applications and has prior experience in the financial industry.
With a full spectrum of advanced design skills and a willingness to learn from and work with other departments to achieve the best results, this Graphic Designer will fit perfectly into this role with one of the nation’s largest financial brands.
Responsibilities:
- Apply professional graphic design principles to the creation of documents, and other graphic products.
- Collaborate with multiple departments as needed to define the creative goal of each project.
- Uses sophisticated design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to execute ideas and prepare files for both electronic and print usage.
- Develop creative briefs by gathering information and data to clarify project objectives and overall design issues.
- Assist with the planning and production of marketing and website content for multiple products across all online media, including emails and company blog
Requirements
- Experience working in a corporate environment is a must. Prior experience with the financial industry highly desired.
- Intermediate to expert level skills in graphic design software required, including web and multimedia design with experience in using programs such as: Dreamweaver, Freehand, Flash, Adobe In-Design, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, QuarkXpress, Microsoft Office Suite, HTML, CSS.
- Thorough knowledge of visual design principals; graphic design, layout, typography, color, icon development, corporate identity and branding.
- Ability to create printed materials (studies, brochures, invitations, etc.), slide presentations and custom artwork.
- Experience in coordinating the day-to-day production and design of projects with in-house clients and Creative Services team members.
- Must be exceptionally organized, self motivated, deadline-oriented and an effective at communicating.
