Job Description
INTERACTIVE SENIOR ART DIRECTOR
As an exceptional Art Director, you know you’re not just managing staff. If you take a hands-on approach to the conception, development, implementation and evaluation of dynamic creative marketing projects, then our client wants you on their team.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills in both the managerial and creative arenas.
- Solid understanding of content packaging, graphic design, layout, user interface, and basic design theories are essential.
- Ability to allocate resources across multiple projects and oversee work-in-progress to meet business objectives.
- Strong understanding of user-interface and user experience for online and mobile products.
- Expert at translation of consumer insights into actionable creative strategies and breakthrough concepts that drive business results.
- Significant interactive brand-building experience including: concept development, website design, identity design, and online marketing campaign development.
- Adobe CS4 - Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver - HTML/XHTML,CSS, ActionScript, Photoshop, et al.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Mobile - Familiar emerging digital media trends.
- Advertising based Photography experience preferred.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and lead art direction and creative concept for designers, artists and writers.
- Hands on design of conceptual pitch materials, demos and marketing materials.
- Team oriented and able to work directly under Creative Director.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how marketing, public relations and internal communications work together in support of a brand and corporate reputation.
- Stay current with design/interactive/marketing trends and find innovative ways to share them throughout the organization.
- Helps maintain active list of creative contractor resources, i.e.: copywriters, visual designers, photographers, Flash designers/developers, 3D artists, musicians, etc.
