Job Description
We are seeking a Senior-Level Associate Creative Director (ACD) to join our Ad Agency team in Washington, DC. The ACD must have an award winning background for creating concept and design collateral and/or advertising campaigns and possess a strong sense of branding.
The successful candidate will have a portfolio that shows work across all media—-print, radio, TV or video, and online. The ACD will mentor and inspire designers, art directors and producers in a collaborative way to generate ideas and designs while striving to make the work better each day.
- The ACD will intersect with creative directors and lead projects at varying levels of engagement from concept to completion while being mindful of budget and deadlines.
- Must be able to inform creative brief, drive strategy and elevate messaging as well as present and sell concepts to account teams and clients.
- The ACD will pursue new business for associations, non-profit organizations, government agencies and private sector clients.
- The ACD will report to the SVP/creative director and work closely with the creative and account teams as well as directly with clients.
- The ACD will manage freelancers and must have management experience
Requirements
- Candidate must have ad agency experience
- The ACD should have 10+ years of agency/marketing communications experience
- Four-year degree required.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite 5 software: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint a plus.
