Job Description
Onward is strategically building a Design and Development team with a local agency for a new client in the travel, leisure, and entertainment industry. This agency is an award winning group that has pioneered new technology and processes of interactive design over the past decade. A well respected team that is highly sought after and often at the forefront of the Interactive world. If you are a talented and creative Interactive Designer looking for a long term contract that has a possibility of becoming a full time role, let's see your work.
Here's how you fit this role:
- At least 2-4 yeas with previous agency experience or in house studio background designing for interactive.
- A style of sharp, sophisticated, minimalistic design would fit best, so highlight that in your portfolio or cover letter.
- A portfolio of online material is a must.
- Expert skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash (design/animation), HTML, CSS, and experience with open source technology such as Wordpress and jQuery.
- A knowlege of the user experience process from testing to prototyping and integrating feedback into designs.
- Local candidates only, we need to fill this fast.
- And if you have a Developer colleague that would fit this project as well from a UI Development perspective, we want to hear from them too!
Requirements
As a part of this team, work closely with the Creative Directors and Brand Management group to design compelling creative material for the advertising and consumer facing markets.
- Design visually rich media presentations that provide sound functionality and easy to use performance.
- Work closely with the User Experience team to ensure that each piece created upholds the integrity of proper design which to this team is superior functionality.
- Design banner and interactive advertising material from microsites to mobile advertising.
- Provide design concepts and mockups for client presentation and review.
