Job Description

Onward Search is looking for talented Interactive Designers with front end development skills for our clients to assist in the creation and delivery of online products with a business to business reach, supporting internal design teams that are completely redesigning their web presence, and creating online advertisements including micro-sites, banners, and rich media applications. Here is the chance for a talented online designer to create something from scratch and put their fingerprint in organizations' online presence.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
- 2 to 4 years of Interactive Design experience with a portfolio showcasing your skills in web design, micro-site creation, Flash banners, email designs and/or rich media projects.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, xHTML, Flash, JavaScript, and Actionscript with PHP and AJAX experience as a plus.
- Ability to speak to the design process and work off of previously created wireframes and site maps.
- Excellent design skills with a balance of clean, concise creative with personal style - what separates you from the crowd?
- Ability to multitask and have excellent communication skills. You feel comfortable pitching your work to upper management and making business requirement suggestions.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and participate in concept generation activities including the development of: user profiles, user scenarios, organizational models, task models and feature lists.
- Create process flows, site maps, wireframes, and prototypes that will advance the company's user experience design and development mode.
- Develop interactive prototypes that demonstrate the team’s vision to the business and customers.
- Conduct end user needs assessment and task analysis using appropriate techniques, e.g. interviewing, ethnography, site usage data analysis, etc.
- Perform heuristic site evaluations and competitive analysis; communicate results and implications.
