Job Description
Our client, a creative in-house agency, is looking for someone to join their team who is comfortable designing and developing for the web. They are looking for someone that has big ideas and the skills to execute and drive their presence in the interactive space.
You’re the type of web designer who can create fresh and dynamic graphics and impressive visual experiences with one eye closed. You’re incredibly confident in your abilities to solve problems and deliver exceptional results on time. You’re also precisely who our client is looking for to help shape their online global presence as a technologically driven savvy company.
This position is on-site, 40hrs/week, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and brainstorm with creative team from ideation to mock-ups and final product.
- Design and produce highly creative online experiences.
- Comply with company branding messages and standards to ensure web site is user friendly, high performing and offers a compelling, reliable experience.
- Stay current with marketplace trends, emerging design techniques and their application.
- You will also maintain, update and improve upon existing online properties which may include micro sites, landing pages, emails, banner ads, web pages and websites.
Requirements
- Practical design/production experience in online and rich-media design -
- Proactive & self motivated, highly organized, and posses excellent time-management & communication skills, with a proven ability to manage projects and changing priorities.
- Fluent in Adobe CS5 programs; especially Photoshop and Illustrator
- Proficient in coding HTML, CSS and implementing jQuery
