Job Description
Our client, a local Ad Agency, is in search of an outstanding Interactive Designer who will provide exceptional visual design sense and develop their own insights through independent analysis while working in a fast-paced team environment. Working collaboratively, you’ll support higher-level staff to create visual designs for all interactive initiatives across our properties including websites, emails, applications, and other online media.
Responsibilities:
- Create compelling interactive experiences including websites and online Flash banner campaigns and landing pages
- Coordinate with the art director, product managers, editors and developers to make sure visual design adheres to the requirements, objectives, and timelines.
- Creating scalable site structures and navigation elements that improve usability.
- Implementing innovative and appropriate current technologies as a part of the overall interactive strategy.
- Mobile experience is a plus
Requirements
- Exceptional understanding of the graphic and the functional aspects of Web design and the ability to execute both.
- Expertise in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Illustrator to create glowing comprehensive design mockups.
- Deep knowledge of UX and IA principles.
- Methodical, detail oriented, efficient, organized, self-starter, highly productive in a collaborative, team environment.

Strong online portfolio showcasing integrated online campaigns, as well as your print design skills.

Minimum for 2 years of experience
This position is on-site only in the DC office. Will consider candidates looking for freelance only.
No relocation or remote work. Do not apply if you live out of the country or outside of the DC, Maryland and Virginia area.
