Job Description
Onward Search has a great opening with a brand new client in San Francisco in the mobile space. Our client works with the top names in mobile gaming, including Facebook, Zynga and EA.
This is a top tier mobile company with a great management team and strong room for growth in the design team. The office is conveniently located in downtown San Francisco.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Take mobile interface and application designs and deliver pixel perfect Photoshop and CSS files to engineering.
- Optimize and resize photographs for multiple screen sizes.
- Collaborate with user experience design team on new application designs and improvement of design processes.
- Provide suggestions for more efficient design and coding based on mobile best practices and research.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience.
- BA in New Media, Web Design, Graphic Design or similar degree preferred but not required.
- Hands on coding skills in HTML and CSS.
- Intermediate to advanced Photoshop skills.
- Portfolio showing a strong understanding of visual and web interface design, including color, typography and clean designs built with CSS.
