Job Description
The Interactive Project Manager must be proactive in managing the delivery of multimedia and web development assignments through the lifecycle of the project using appropriate resources and effective workflow processes. This requires a balance of scope, cost, production schedules and project timelines, risk, overall quality and expectations.
The main responsibility of the Interactive Project Manager is to lead the Interactive team on client initiatives in order to better manage and execute production on interactive projects.
- Interact with team daily to ensure proper execution of all ongoing interactive projects
- Assist in defining scope of projects and define/leverage the proper delivery methods for specific needs
- Manage multiple projects and team simultaneously and teams to adhere to approved budgets
- Provide insight and direction in developing solutions for our clients
- Tactically manage the day-to-day project tasks and communications between the interactive department and the lead Account staff
- Coordinate approvals from team members on schedule and communicate necessary revisions
- Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget, including all aspects of the project
- Direct and maintain creation of project documentation: project plan, status reports, change requests
- Exhibit solid working knowledge of web development/multimedia including strategies, design, and implementation
- Ability to identify staffing needs to maximize efficiency
- Exhibit knowledge of user experience, research, and interactive technologies
- Strong communication, presentation, leadership, organization, facilitation & negotiation skills
Requirements
- Bachelor of the Arts or equivalent college degree
- 3-5 years equivalent experience required
- Solid knowledge of online and traditional marketing development processes and technologies
- Client-service focused and proven team player
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- MS Office proficiency required, familiarity with MS Project preferred
- Knowledge of analytic/research tools
