Job Description
A local Washington, DC based digital ad agency is looking to add an Interactive Project Manager to the team. This candidate will be an expert and point-of-contact for interactive engagements with the responsibility to lead our clients, creative, and tech teams through the production of industry-leading interactive initiatives. In addition, this candidate will seamlessly moving between the interactive + print design worlds, with a sometime-focus on shepherding the development of eye catching brochures, annual reports, marketing materials, etc.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all phases of interactive and print project planning, design and execution, serving as expert and primary point of contact for interactive + engagements
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and deliver projects that meet the client’s strategic vision and business objectives, while tracking interactive design, quality assurance and deployment
- Lead our clients, creative, and tech teams through the production of industry-leading interactive initiatives
- Exceptional analytical, process-fostering, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Adept at attracting, mentoring, training, and supervising 3 or more direct reports
Requirements
- Must have ad agency experience
- 3+ years experience managing interactive and print engagements (from discovery to deployment) for design, marketing, communications studio/agency, or equivalent environment
- 2+ years experience managing large, medium or small-sized clients with recent (and glowing!) client-side references
- Adept in project management software (MS Project, Workamajig, or similar)
- Understanding of social media strategies and common technologies
- Experience leading using both waterfall + agile project management frameworks with corresponding certifications
