Job Description
Would you like to put your web development skills to use in a creative, collaborative environment? Do you have a strong desire to constantly take advantage of the latest web technologies? If so, we want to talk to you.
You should be a quick on-the-job learner and problem solver, have an eye for detail, and generally curious and eager to learn and understand new things.
- Develop and implement web interfaces for efficiency and ease of use using standards based coding.
- Must be able to hand code HTML4 or 5 or xHTML and CSS3.
- Must be able to edit and implement JQuery and/or Javascript.
- Maintain and enhance existing Web applications.
- Plan, document, and test all web-based and data driven applications.
- Lead web development efforts, including mentoring and advising peers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser issues.
Requirements
- Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized with excellent communications skills.
- 2+ years experience hand-coding Front End Web Development
- Ability to determine scope and requirements for all development and web application based projects and apply sharp problem-solving skills to each project phase.
- Expert in HTML5 or XHTML and CSS 3
- Ability to edit and implement JQuery or Javascript.
- Working knowledge of Ajax and PHP is desirable.
This role requires the grasp of multiple skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel. It will be challenging. It will be engaging. It will be interactive.
