Job Description
This is an amazing chance to work with a great product team in a design centric environment building a consumer application for mobile, tablet and web.
We are looking for a senior or lead level visual designer with a solid understanding of interaction design to come to work inspired and opinionated about great design and help us build beautiful interfaces for a next generation product.
This position sits onsite at a brand new, inspiring 2,000 square foot design studio in Silicon Valley!
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product teams, UX designers, art directors and creative directors to create a functional and beautiful high visibility product.
- Advocate for the user in a design hungry global organization.
- Use your entrepreneurial attitude to lead projects and drive peers and cross functional teams to build a great product.
- Design responsive interfaces for multiple mobile and tablet devices, as well as web and desktop.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have:
- 5+ years of visual and interface design experience for web based products
- Strong understanding of interaction design and usability best practices
- Experience successfully integrating with user experience and product design teams on projects
- Online portfolio showing a variety of design experiences building beautiful and functional sites and products
- Some mobile or tablet design experience
- Eye popping visuals with a focus on the consumer web
This is 6+ month contract position with a strong possibility of full time employment in the future.
