Job Description

The Media Analytics Group is responsible for driving analysis and strategic thinking across all client engagements and new business developments.  The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in statistical and economic theory which will be applied to the dynamic world of media planning and buying. 

Under the direction of the Director of Analytics, the Manager will lead advanced strategic services and reporting for various media accounts with advertising campaigns that span across multiple advertising channels.  He or she will design and oversee performance reporting for every campaign;   Provide insight at the planning and buying stages, as well as leading mid and post-campaign analyses, optimizations, and strategy recommendations.  The emphasis of this position is on applying strategic thinking to both campaign planning and management. 

 

 Primary Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Quantitative analysis of campaign tracking report metrics and comparison against plan
  • Development of customized client reports
  • Provide client-team support to ensure high quality deliverables
  • Internal presentations, providing insight to analyses and making recommendations
  • Assist in the development of client-specific analytical and creative test designs and execution
  • Assist in the development of new analytical tools

 

Requirements

 

  • Experience in statistical modeling, database marketing, economic analysis, and/or agency/consulting experience a plus.
  • Degree in marketing, mathematics, statistics or economics required; advanced quantitative degree a plus
  • Experience in automotive industry a plus.
  • Possession of excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Ability to utilize VBA programming desired.  Knowledge of SAS or SPSS, SQL, Strata or other database packages (e.g., MS Access) a plus.
  • Knowledge of Dart, Atlas, WebTrends, or Doubleclick a HUGE plus.
