Job Description

The Manager Web Analytics & Reporting will be responsible for developing the company’s web analytics strategy, selecting tools, developing processes, analyzing data and providing actionable recommendations designed to improve site performance and outcomes for all site properties. As a member of the Marketing Measurement team, this individual provides services which will build a deep and robust understanding of site performance (including trends, customer profiles and path analysis) and a strategy for its continual improvement. He/she is an essential part of the team that conceives, executes and evaluates site strategy, providing the foundational understanding upon which development and enhancement decisions are based. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop web analytics strategy, select tools, develop processes and methodologies
  • Establish and track KPIs for overall site performance
  • Develop dashboards and reports to meet the needs of key clients at both strategic and tactical level
  • Link on-line activities of key user segments with offline sales and redemption behaviors to assess the incremental value of web properties
  • Conduct A/B testing and other test plans to analyze results and recommend actions
  • Drive search engine optimization efforts, long term strategy to maximize results, supporting site development and maintenance protocols, measurement
  • Make actionable recommendations driven by the analysis of web and offline data
  • Evaluate, select and manage external vendors for specific analytics projects and implementation of tools and methodology.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Quantitative studies or related field
  • 4 plus years experience in web analytics including measurement, testing, benchmarking and terminology.
  • Expertise in site tagging in support of business goals and to enable reporting/analysis.
  • Experience in developing measurement and data driven strategies in a web environment across all stages of the marketing funnel.
  • Solid understanding of the fundamental concepts, efficacy measurements and tools of SEO strategy.
  • Deep understanding of web reporting packages (e.g. Adobe Site Catalyst, Adobe Discover).
  • Experience with Omniture web analytics tools a plus.
  • Experience using statistical analytics packages (e.g. SAS) a HUGE plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills to present and explain detailed analysis and reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
