Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to join a worldwide client of ours in San Mateo. 3 month contract opportunity, onsite. Highly accessible by Caltrain plus the office is close by to shopping, banking and easy access to both 101 and 280. Oh...and parking is FREE!
Responsibilities:
- Assist Manager in coordinating correspondence, production schedules, etc.
- Provide ongoing communications support to the department as needed
- Oversee assigned communication projects to ensure quality, proper execution, and timely completion
- Review materials and communications for regulatory compliance and coordinate routing of material to required reviewers
- Complete regular updates to materials as needed (e.g., monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually)
- Complete ad-hoc projects as necessary.
- Development and support of product-related marketing materials and content for all business lines globally
- Takes responsibility for creating and continuously improving product-specific marketing literature and sales tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in a corporate or advertising agency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Go-getter mentality.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to coordinate the work of available resources
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to work under pressure
