Mobile Web Developer (85-95k)
Digital Influence
Do you understand graceful degradation and progressive enhancement? Have you embraced responsive Web design? Do you have what it takes to code for the award winning 360° digital team?
We are seeking a developer with the skills to code mobile optimized Websites; a developer who is fascinated by the latest technologies, platforms, and coding techniques.
Requirements
- 4-6 years minimum experience coding XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- 1-2 years experience optimizing sites for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android
- Experience developing for cross-browser/platform compatibility
- Experience integrating social-media platforms and APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Google, Flickr, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Experience mentoring junior developers and providing peer code review
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required
This position offers the opportunity to continually expand upon existing skills and develop new ones through training courses and industry conferences. We are looking for someone who is inspired to contribute to, and stay engaged with, the mobile development community. Additional consideration will be given to candidates who also have any experience or demonstrated ability to acquire skills in the following areas:
- Experience with JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and Prototype, and/or experience with JSON
- Experience with mobile application frameworks
- Facebook app and/or Connect experience
- HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design experience
- Native application development (iOS and/or Android)
- Experience with PHP and MySQL
- Experience collaborating on code development and using version control systems such as Subversion (SVN)
