Online Content Editor
Onward Search is working with a premiere organization in Boston that is responsible for designing award-winning websites, mobile applications and internal applications.
This client has a large team of UE professionals who work collaboratively with their business and technology teams-designing and delivering online experiences that enable their customer’s success.
We seek a pedigreed and seasoned Senior Online Content Editor/Strategist to work with our client in Boston on two long-term, freelance projects starting immediately. These projects will last throughout 2011 and are on-site at the client location in Boston, regular, full-time hours ( M-F, full business days).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of other content strategists, information architects, designers, researchers, usability specialists, and creative directors on various content projects
- Work with existing content and create compelling new content that speaks to defined user personas
- Define content requirements based on experience, competitive research and input from subject matter experts
- Develop clear, consistent content/copy for tools, applications and calls-to- action
Requirements
Education and Experience
- 5+ years of writing, marketing, design, UX experience
- Experience with content management systems
Skills and Knowledge
- Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into deliverable tasks
- Proven relationship-building and communication skills
- Detail oriented and highly developed organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, quickly, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks under multiple deadlines
