Job Description
We have an immediate opportunity for an SEO consultant to join a highly successful online marketing team at one of our most well-known clients - with numerous accolades for their culture and innovation.
This is a long term, 6 month, consulting role with the chance at a permanent role in the future.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Define strategy and innovate for business success, leading SEO efforts for multiple online properties, including browser based mobile sites.
- Work closely with development teams to assure best practices in search engine optimization are being implemented through code.
- Research and recommend new SEO strategies.
- Execute SEO initiatives, including but not limited to URL selection, internal and external linking and keyword generation.
- Test and analyze search engine optimization results and suggest areas for improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of online marketing experience with at least 2 years in an SEO/ natural search focused position with proven success and ROI.
- Experience with Web Analytics platforms (Omniture ideal).
- Some additional experience in social media is a plus.
- Hands on knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- BA/BS Degree
- Analytical mind and a constant drive towards improvement of strategy and innovation.
