Job Description
As SEO Manager you will be responsible for identifying and managing SEO opportunities for one of our biggest clients. The right candidate must eat breathe and sleep SEO, be enthusiastic, pro-active, detail-oriented, and a hardworking professional able to work well in a high performance team-oriented environment.

- Identify, prioritize and manage SEO opportunities and projects relating to site architecture, URL structure, redirects, content, title tags, internal linking, site maps, compliancy issues, natural link building and site maps.
- Serve as team expert for search engine optimization opportunities and projects.
- Work with the Community Manager to optimize the use of social assets and strategies as they pertain to SEO.
- Responsible for analyzing, recommending and implementing improvements to meet online search marketing ROI and growth targets.
- Manage target keyword portfolio and produce detailed campaign performance analysis and presentations as required.
- Responsible for making sure that project milestones are achieved within project plan timeline.
- Understand server side elements and resolution techniques for 300, 400, 500 errors,
- Detailed understanding of .htaccess and robots.txt etc.
- Follow proper SEO guidelines.
- Monitor SEO performance with our custom tracking software and develop SEO dashboards and critical share of voice reports.
- Stay abreast of updates in search engine algorithms and develop strategies accordingly.
- Be able to provide innovation, key changes, and spot "problem areas" before they become problems.
- Perform competitive and industry analysis to stay one step ahead of the competition.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have minimum 4 years experience managing Search Engine Optimization in an enterprise environment or for an agency.
Be an SEO “Rock Star” who has a natural passion for Search Engine Optimization elements and techniques.
- Experience with optimizing dynamic content for database driven web sites.
- Fluent in HTML, HTML5 a plus.
- Hands-on experience with jQuery, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAXPHP, ASP.
- Expert MS Office, Google Analytics, and Webmaster tools is a must.
- Ideally, you’ve worked for an agency in a similar capacity.
