Job Description


Top DC Agency seeking a senior digital producer to join their development team. This individual will work across multiple clients and issue areas, managing the implementation of digital marketing projects from scope development and creative concepting to technical development and launch.   Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead digital project implementation and facilitate communication among all agency teams—account, user experience, creative and web development—and outside vendors.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and investigate and understand project priorities in the context of agency and client expectations.
  • Scope, define, estimate and manage to budgets for digital projects, including websites, social media campaigns, online advertising, etc.
  • Create, communicate, maintain and enforce project timelines for all projects.
  • Understand the creative strategy and objectives on all projects and provide substantive feedback to the team on all deliverables, including sitemaps, wireframes, mood boards, design comps, etc.
  • Prioritize tasks and deliverables for each project for the team and issue status reports.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for the development team, and vice versa, clearly communicates technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  • Provide basic technical support for third-party products used by digital team, including web hosting, domain registrar, and plug-in features.
  • Ensure the best practices and standards are understood and followed throughout the project.
  • Assist in managing internal digital resources, ensuring existing and new business projects are appropriately staffed.
  • Identify and manage vendors to collaborate with, ensuring quality standards are maintained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university required.
  • 5+ years experience in digital project management/producing.
  • Agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Expert level experience writing HTML code with proficiency in CSS and basic knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Experience with web hosting, domain registrar and plug-in features for Drupal, ExpressionEngine and WordPress CMS
  • Strong understanding of and experience with: wire-frames, mood boards, web metrics, search engine optimization, blogging, banner ads, email blasts, websites/microsites, web video, and databases.

Addition Skills Preferred:

  • Passion for advocacy and social engagement.
  • Ability to develop timelines, and speak to the strategies around the development.
  • Must understand the pitfalls of Internet Explorer 7.
