Job Description
In the world of the User Experience Practice, Onward's client is leading the design and execution of multiple consumer facing products and applications helping shape the digital device world. This group of user centric talents is searching for a balanced mind in the Interaction Design field to be an intricate part of their Experience Design team.
In the Interaction Design role, lead and assist the design and implementation of all aspects of the design practice: Visual Design, branding, usability, information architecture, content and taxonomy creation.
- Design and execute core Experience Design capabilities for consumer facing mobile and online applications.
- Support the development and delivery of business requirements, audience, and competitive analysis.
- Work closely with the creative teams to develop creative briefs and information architecture strategies.
- Adapt models to specific client needs with input and direction from Experience Design team.
Requirements
Qualified Candidates will have:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the UX Practice as an Information Architect and Visual Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role.
- Expert skills in wireframe creation, visual design creativity, and a user centric design style.
- A strong online portfolio of work highlighting Visual and UX skills.
- Expert knowledge of the front end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery is a plus).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present as an advocate for new ideas from the team.
