Job Description
Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights - New York, NY
Manhattan based advertising agency seeks a Senior Manager to join the Consumer Analytics & Insights team. The Senior Manager will work closely with sales teams to leverage the latest ad effectiveness and ROI solutions to measure the impact of media programs across multiple channels. This includes managing relationships with external research vendors and developing media accountability solutions within the largest online advertising categories. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing the ROI of media initiatives; Knowledge of research services like comScore, Nielsen, Dynamic Logic and/or Kantar Media.
Responsibilities Include:
- Leverage syndicated and custom ROI/ad effectiveness research methods to highlight the value of advertising
- Partner with Sales and Marketing in the production of upfront materials and research projects for key advertising partners and agencies
- Mentorand train Research Managers and Analysts
- Combine consumer trends, advertiser data and product specific solutions to develop collateral that supports the position as a leader in online advertising research.
- Identify and investigate new media measurement models, data sources, and research partners.
- Work closely with marketing teams to brand research offerings and produce case studies showcasing best practices.
- Detailed oriented analyst that can deliver accurate results on demand
- See the big picture and provide constant, clear communication of objectives, status, tactics and articulate results to all stakeholders
- Establish solid working relationship with the stakeholders and become a close partner with respect to reporting, data and business needs
Requirements
- 5-9 years relevant work experience in online research
- Experience analyzing the ROI of media initiatives
- Knowledge of research services like comScore Network, Nielsen, Dynamic Logic and Kantar Media
- BA/BS in a quantitative discipline (e.g. statistics, accounting, economics, business)
- Expertise supporting advertising agencies and sales/business development teams with consumer insight initiatives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable ability to motivate high performing teams
- Excellent account management and relationship building skills. Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Thought leader with track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions
- Demonstrable persistence and resilience at accomplishing difficult tasks, plus proven learning from failures
- Ability and willingness to roll up the sleeves and get things done
