Job Description
Global branding agency in the heart of San Francisco seeking full-time Senior Visial Designer.
This branding giant is an award winning firm due to their approach and method of making brands evolve like the people that grow to depend on them. This is an important creative and managerial/client facing role. You will be sharing a clear vision for the concept, context and texture of projects across mixed media platforms and channels, with varying team sizes according to an individual project scope. This position therefore demands clear art direction of both freelance and full-time designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands on direction of all projects undertaken.
- Lead the design team, working closely with the Project Manager.
- Lead brainstorms.
- Prioritize work with Project Manager to aid in effective scheduling.
- Empower the design team to take responsibility for their respective areas of work.
- To liaise with clients when necessary.
- Liaising/leading technical/programming staff (based on skill set) to ensure best creative solutions realised and ultimately delivered.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies.
- Manage Junior Designers
- Attend weekly ‘Creative meetings
Requirements
- Excellent Creative and Art Direction skills.
- Concept innovative solutions
- Excellent visual and communication design skills.
- Strong storyboarding and 'proof of concept' skills (ability to visualise layouts etc).
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office essential. Understanding of animation and creative software solutions used within the design studio.
