Job Description
Here's a rare opportunity to work for a well-established consumer brand and showcase your design abilities creating a new web experience from the ground up. You'll also join a great team oriented environment with a strong creative leader.
This is a contract to hire position with the opportunity at a permanent role with our client after 3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and brainstorm with creative team from ideation and briefs to mock-ups and final product.
- Design brand new consumer site from brand guidelines and styleguide.
- Maintain, update and improve upon existing online properties which may include micro sites, landing pages, emails, banner ads, web pages and websites.
- Design and produce highly creative online experiences.
- Comply with company branding messages and standards to ensure web site is user friendly, high performing and offers a compelling, reliable experience.
- Stay current with marketplace trends, emerging design techniques and their application.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional design experience
- Proactive & self motivated, highly organized, and posses excellent time-management & communication skills, with a proven ability to manage projects and changing priorities.
- Portfolio of samples showing an elegant yet bold design aesthetic
- Experience with designing websites, banners and email.
- Fluent in Adobe CS programs; Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Fireworks.
- HTML/CSS knowledge a huge plus
- BA in Graphic Arts Design or related field.
