Job Description
You’re the type of web designer who can create fresh and dynamic graphics and impressive visual experiences with one eye closed. You’re incredibly confident in your abilities to solve problems, interpret briefs and deliver exceptional results on time. You’re also precisely who our client is looking for to take their online presence to the next level.
This is a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity so please apply now!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and brainstorm with creative team from ideation and briefs to mock-ups and final product.
- Maintain, update and improve upon existing online properties which may include micro sites, landing pages, emails, banner ads, web pages and websites.
- Design and produce highly creative online experiences.
- Comply with company branding messages and standards to ensure web site is user friendly, high performing and offers a compelling, reliable experience.
- Stay current with marketplace trends, emerging design techniques and their application.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Proactive & self motivated, highly organized, and posses excellent time-management & communication skills, with a proven ability to manage projects and changing priorities.
- Must provide samples of work that showcase a clean, somewhat fashion oriented look with a bit of pop to stand out from the rest
- Experience with designing websites, banners and email.
- Fluent in Adobe CS programs; Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Fireworks.
- CSS, HTML, Javascript and PHP knowledge a huge plus
- BA in Graphic Arts Design or related field.
