Job Description
We need the right Senior Web Designer to join our client’s team and bring a higher level of creativity to the table. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, seasoned designer with a strong sense of design and the ability to multitask and produce impressive design solutions that communicate brand initiatives and objectives clearly.
Qualifications:
- Intermediate to expert level skills in graphic design software required, including web and multimedia design with experience in using programs such as: Dreamweaver, Freehand, Flash, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, QuarkXPress, Microsoft Office Suite, HTML, CSS.
- Thorough knowledge of visual design principals; graphic design, layout, typography, color, icon development, corporate identity and branding.
- Must have HTML email template experience.
- Design, layout, typography, color, icon development, corporate identity and branding.
- Ability to create printed materials (studies, brochures, invitations, etc.), slide presentations and custom artwork.
- Experience in coordinating the day-to-day production and design of projects with in-house clients and Creative Services team members.
- Must be exceptionally organized, self motivated, deadline-oriented and effective at communicating.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Apply professional graphic design principles to the creation of documents, websites and other graphic products.
- Update and create new graphics for existing Web sites. (Prepare graphics to hand off to HTML developers who will code the site)
- Uses sophisticated design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to execute ideas and prepare files for both electronic and print usage.
- Develop creative briefs by gathering information and data to clarify project objectives and overall design issues.
- Assist with the planning and production of marketing and website content for multiple products across all online media, including emails and company blog.
