Job Description
We are seeking a web developer with the skills to code Websites, blogs, Facebook apps, tabs and more. A rock star front-end developer to join the Washington DC office of our international ad agency.
You will be a thought-leader in all aspects of social media developemnt and abreast of all emerging media. You will work in partnership with creative directors, clients and senior-level brand/marketing executives to develop and activate social media programs. You must present well, write and speak with ease, and be able to strategically guide and mediate client brainstorm sessions and facilitate program development and approval.
Requirements
This position offers the opportunity to continually expand existing skills and develop new ones. Additional consideration will be given to candidates who also have any experience or demonstrated ability to acquire skills in the following areas:
- 3 years minimum experience with HTML/XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- 2 years minimum experience with PHP and MySQL
- Ability to update, edit, and cut up graphics from Photoshop designs
- Experience developing for cross-browser/platform compatibility
- Experience with WordPress and/or Drupal
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required
- Experience using social-media APIs (Google, Yahoo, Flickr, YouTube, Twitter, etc.)
- Experience with JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and Prototype, and/or experience with JSON
- Facebook Connect, application, or FBML experience
- Mobile Website and/or app development
