Job Description
Onward Search is working with a highly influential organization in Los Angeles that is looking for Senior Social Media Manager to oversee all strategy, research, analysis on social media initiatives, campaigns and platforms.
The right candidate should have experience conceiving creative ideas for leading consumer brand, be an expert in social trends, and comfortable with emerging technology. They will also have proven success with collaborating and servicing the needs of cross-functional stakeholders with in the company, in order to develop and achieve growth goals.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and execution of client campaigns including social media channel and community management, content creation, digital public relations, promotions, partnerships, blogger and influencer outreach initiatives, online events, etc.
- Serve as key day-to-day community and implementation manager for brands and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with the media planning, search marketing, and SEO teams to leverage digital advertising and organic/paid promotional activities where appropriate.
- Work with analytics team and oversee preparation of metrics, tracking and activity reports as based on client reporting needs.
- Conduct and/or oversee research and create materials to support general business development opportunities.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of dedicated digital experience at an interactive, advertising, communications, public relations, and/or marketing agency.
- Experience working on social media marketing programs, and word-of-mouth campaigns.
- Experience building a brand using social tools like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of web site design and development.
- Knowledge of SEO, and search engine marketing fundamentals.
- Ability to think, plan and execute resourcefully, across multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of online tracking and monitoring tools and ability to search and find key content within social media.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
