Job Description

Is working for a start-up exciting to you? Ever wonder about how it would be being thee person who lead the design for an awesome product being used by Fortune 2000 companies? Well, here is your chance. Our client, located in downtown San Francisco, is in immediate need for a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer with the chops to lead the design efforts of their cutting-edge product from inception to completion.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, onsite, in San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Business Development teams
  • Responsible for creating, enhancing and articulating the overall brand tone and personality through design and execution of online user experiences.
  • Create interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use
  • Develop and maintain high-level wireframes and navigation maps that communicate your design ideas
  • Build prototypes to demonstrate and test your recommendations

Requirements


  • 3+ years of working experience
  • Portfolio showcasing your best work
  • Must be able to understand B2B audience, their needs and other motivating factors and translate them into concepts for compelling interactions and experiences.
  • Experience with design applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Visio and technologies such as HTML and CSS.
  • Ability to coach teams in proper execution of various research techniques including contextual inquiry, end-user and task analysis for complex or strategic projects.
  • Strong background in and understanding of the following: user research, information architecture, information design, interaction design, and user interface design.
  • Expert knowledge of fundamental digital marketing and search engine optimization best practices as it relates to UX design.
