UX Designer - Dallas, Texas

Job Description

Onward Search is looking for a designer that has experience designing user interfaces for android apps, iPhone apps, and mobile web sites. He/she should be able to conceptualize new mobile experiences, work within existing brand guidelines and be willing to take on production work when it's needed.

In this role you are responsible for executing solid designs that speak to creative and art direction provided. It will require working well as a team member of a large account, understanding how a team operates and what is expected in critiques and team meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Creation of wireframes, concept flows and visual designs
• Implementation of robust user interface to multiple products
• Use your exceptional communication skills to help inform UI design and leadership as to capabilities of the technology
• Work with team defining and prioritizing the features needed to create great user experiences on devices
• Build bridges between UI design, Engineering, and Product Management
• Participate in UI / UX strategy development
• Design and execute small and medium scale usability tests
• Work with visual designers to ensure compliance with key standards
• Collaborate with Design and Platform architects to create hi-def working prototypes of design concepts
• Participate in competitive analyses activities
• Photo retouching, animation, storyboards, layouts and UI demos
