User Experience Strategist - Bensenville, Illinois

We need a User Experience Strategist who will apply knowledge of user-centered design methods, human-computer interaction and industry best practices to drive useful and usable interface design solutions for our client. The right person will strike a balance between creative and analytical thinking, participate in concept development, analyze and visualize user research and provide user interface designs that meet the goals set forth by the team.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to understand a target audience's needs and other motivating factors and translate them into concepts for compelling interactions and experiences.
• Experience with design applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Visio and technologies such as XML, HTML and CSS.
• Ability to coach teams in proper execution of various research techniques including contextual inquiry, end-user and task analysis for complex or strategic projects.
• Strong background in and understanding of the following: user research, information architecture, information design, interaction design, and user interface design.
• Expert knowledge of fundamental digital marketing and search engine optimization best practices as it relates to UX design.
