Job Description
Qualified individuals will apply knowledge of user-centered design methods, human-computer interaction and industry best practices to drive useful and usable interface design solutions for our client. The right person will strike a balance between creative and analytical thinking, participate in concept development, analyze and visualize user research and provide user interface designs that meet the goals set forth by the team.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to understand a target audience's needs and other motivating factors and translate them into concepts for compelling interactions and experiences.
- Experience with design applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Visio and technologies such as
- Ability to coach teams in proper execution of various research techniques including contextual inquiry, end-user and task analysis for complex or strategic projects.
- Strong background in and understanding of the following: user research, information architecture, information design, interaction design, and user interface design.
- Expert knowledge of fundamental digital marketing and search engine optimization best practices as it relates to UX design.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs and requirements into engaging and compelling on-line experiences.
- Responsible for creating, enhancing and articulating the overall brand tone and personality through design and execution of online user experiences.
- Define the principles to guide information technology and solution decisions for the enterprise.
- Support the development and execution of a communication (including education) plan for the user experience architecture.
- Research the competitive landscape and make recommendations relating to website functionality.
