Job Description
One of our top clients, a large financial corporation, is looking for a VP of Creative to manage their internal Creative Services agency. This VP will oversee the overall creative process, concept/design, development and vendor management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team responsible for the development and execution of all creative projects including concept, copy, design, approval, and production
- Oversee the design of digital projects, including video, websites, web application interfaces, landing pages, emails, banner ads, flash animations, mobile applications and other developing media
- Supervise design, artwork, layout and copy, and production of print and electronic media
- Develop creative strategies in support of marketing campaigns
- Manage external and internal resources as required to deliver a high standard of quality and consistency in all print and electronic materials
- Deliver all creative projects timely and within budget
- Development and management of associated budgets
Requirements
- 5+ years experience managing creative services including graphics and editorial for financial institutions or large B2B or B2C corporations preferred
- Experience in digital media creative development required
- Strategic and creative thinker
- Excellent creative, technical writing and editorial skills
- Experience managing both an in-house creative department as well as external contracted resources
- Project planning and management skills to lead creative development efforts involving a cross-functional matrix team
- Excellent skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, InDesign, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Internal client management experience including interpreting organization goals into appropriate supporting creative vehicle
- Strong management and communication skills
