A local DC advocacy agency is seeking an experienced Video Editor / Broadcast Editor to join their creative team. The Editor will be creating commercials and online videos. This position sits in Washington, DC, in the Downtown area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Applicants need to have the ability to work under demanding deadlines and
executing creatively on existing concepts. - Will work under the close
supervision of producers and must be able to take direction - Edit promos, promo tags, commercial tags, commercials, PSA's, special extended videos for web
Requirements
- Must have advanced knowledge of the Adobe Suite,
Adobe After Effects, Maya, Cinema 4D, Photoshop and Avid or Final Cut Pro. - Previous experience editing for broadcast, a good eye for design and a
willingness to work on-site are a must. - Candidates must be available to work at least 40 hours/week.
- An understanding of Flash and Web Design is a plus, but not
essential. - Minimum of 3 years experience is required
This is a long term freelance project, 40 hrs or more a week. This position will last up to a year or longer.
