Job Description

Your Assignment if you so choose:
As a Web Developer you are responsible for developing front-end web solutions using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS in an effort to provide maximum value to the end-user. Additionally, you are responsible for interacting with other developers both internal and external to ensure a clear, efficient approach to delivery, quality in all promoted work, scalable and well thought out approaches, and front-end technologies that are appropriately implemented.
Other Responsibilities and desired abilities:
- Design and optimize graphical assets, typography, iconography and templates within the parameters of the general guidelines.
- Update and make change requests for various Consumer face and Internal websites
- Assist with CMS (content management system) migration
- Creative mindset
- Strong Implementation abilities
- Ability to articulate to team members and direct reports
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent organization skills
- Good proofreading skills and attention to detail a must
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Logical thinker
- Experience designing and repurposing for web applications, ecommerce, or transactional sites a plus
Requirements
•2+ years front end web development experience
•Repurposing of existing content, layout, and design experience for the web
•Proficiency in hand coding HTML
•Proficiency in Dreamweaver
•Proficiency with CSS
•Proficiency with editing in CS4/5 Full Master Suite
•JavaScript a plus
•Familiarity with Flash and Flash Actionscript
•Experience working within a content management system a plus
•Experience working with banner ads, micro sites, and email marketing preferred
