Job Description
Our client is searching for a talent that can push the limitations of technology to refine systems, automate reports, create scripts, and make recommendations on current processes. They are looking for a smart, dynamic, self-starter with experience in PHP and MySQL and a passion for technology in general. The right person for this newly created role with this growing 70 person company will have a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and a collaborative work style and the desire to go temp to perm (on site in Santa Ana/Newport Beach).
Requirements
Technical Requirements:
- Fluency in PHP programming language.
- Experience with creating automated processes through current systems.
- Knowledge of MySQL database, database schema design and query optimization.
- Experience with benchmarking and profiling tools and performance optimization.
- Able to work with confidential data (must pass background check!).
- University degree in Computing Science or related field.
Strongly Desired:
- Knowledge of Apache HTTP Server and Tomcat configuration and usage.
- Experience with additional technologies: Javascript, Joomla, .net.
- Familiar with Linux platform.
