Job Description

Atlanta based company hiring a Web/Print Project Manager who can plan and drive the execution of small, medium, and large web projects.  The ideal candidate should be able to run both Agile (Scrum) and traditional projects and have excellent problem solving skills. The Project Manager should feel confident and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities at one time.

Basic Functions:

  • Responsible for managing day-to-day planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting for print and web project-related initiatives. 
  • Confidently lead intra-department and external teams to project success, using the most appropriate project management methodology to achieve success. 
  • Utilize Traditional (waterfall) or Agile (Scrum) methodologies to:
  • Plan, discover and execute the project plans
  • Ensure timely and appropriate generation, collection, and dissemination of project information.
  • Manage relationships with internal "customers" and external vendors.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 +  years of overall project management experience
  • 3 years of experience with Scrum practices within a fastpaced environment
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification would be a big plus
  • Project Management experience on multi-brand, global web site launches is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work with a wide range of constituents in a diverse community.
  • Ability to set priorities, foster cohesion and provide motivation to cross functional teams.
  • Solid knowledge of web technical and design processes.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task multiple small, medium and large-scale projects.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly, think creatively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working directly with creative and technical teams (print/web)
  • Understanding of web development technologies such as XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, Flash or equivalent technologies strongly preferred.
