Job Description
Top Boston Company currently looking to add a web project manager to lead and manage web and internet based projects. This project manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of specific design, application, and CMS solutions. Project managers handle fast-paced, high-impact projects and a successful candidate must be able to operate in such an environment.
- The web project manager will be responsible for managing and improving ongoing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) efforts, Web 2.0 and 3.0 social networking initiatives (e.g. Facebook), and e-mail/e-newsletter campaigns.
- Responsibilities also include overseeing projects that increase traffic to the external Website, including Flash and other applications, digital video and podcasts, and Web promotions.
- The Web Project Manager will use Google Analytics to monitor traffic to sections of the site.
- The Web Project Manager will also oversee the projects of the Web content specialists and collaborate with others in the Public Affairs and Marketing department on interactive projects.
Opportunity is on-site Monday - Friday, 40hrs/week.
Requirements
- 2+ years of project management experience
- 5+ years of experience in the web industry
- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Efficient team management skills
- Ability to resolve conflicts
- Effective problem solving skills
