Job Description
This is a great opportunity to develop the latest and greatest iPhone/iPad applications. The selected candidate will be capable of creating a wide variety of software applications, ranging from productivity and utility programs to games. You need to be very comfortable interacting closely with clients and deconstructing complex technical concepts into layman's terms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch apps and maintain existing ones
- Carry applications from concept through execution and deployment to the App Store
- Act as liaison to external contractors doing iOS development
- Present projects in progress to clients, both in person and remotely
- Brainstorm on new apps for both external clients and internal initiatives
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year experience developing for iOS, including at least 2 shipped, live apps
- Must be well-versed in Objective-C and the iApp creation and distribution process
- Minimum 2-3 years experience developing for other platforms (desktop, mobile, web)
- Provide screen shots of existing apps that you worked on including links to those apps or information on those apps
- Must be comfortable with a high level of client interaction
Additional Considerations:
- A passion for games and game development a big plus
- Experience with Android or other mobile dev a big plus
- A background working with clients to produce apps
- Familiarity with Flash a plus
